SEO Initiative Prioritizer
Scores CGH's competing SEO workstreams with a weighted formula and sorts them into P0-P3 tiers so sequencing is a number, not a vibe.
Client: CGH Injury LawyersWhat it produced for CGH Injury Lawyers
CGH (personal injury, Denver CO) has more candidate SEO work than monthly retainer hours. This run scores 10 real CGH initiatives drawn from the execution pack (PAA + geo articles, tier-2 links, technical SEO, core web vitals, schema, URL cleanup, GMB) on the four axes, applies the exact formula, and hands Carlos a ranked, tiered queue.
Formula applied
PRIORITY SCORE = (Impact x 2) + Urgency + Confidence - Effort
Each axis scored 1 to 10. Impact is double-weighted because conversion-to-signed-case is the goal in a high-value PI vertical.
Scoring rationale (per initiative)
- URL structure + canonical cleanup. High impact (every new article links up to money pages; broken canonicals leak it all), low effort, high urgency (it blocks all publishing per the pack), high confidence (the pack already specified the exact fix). The pack literally says "do this before any new article is drafted."
- Core Web Vitals fixes. High impact (YMYL + a confirmed May-28 priority), moderate effort, urgent because it gates ranking on competitive money pages, high confidence (audit already lists issues with owners).
- Denver car accident PAA + geo article (case-value). Highest-traffic-intent money topic, brief and PAA already validated from a real browser harvest, so effort is moderate and confidence is high. Gated only by the YMYL claims ledger.
- FAQ schema on city money pages. High impact for SERP real estate (PAA boxes), low effort once article FAQ blocks exist, high confidence.
- Schema @id to cghlawfirm.com + attorney entity signals. Moderate impact, low-to-moderate effort, high confidence (audit prescribed it).
- Denver dog bite PAA + geo article. High-impact money topic, but PAA is NOT yet validated (pack flags "pending UULE PAA validation"), so confidence drops and effort rises versus the car-accident article.
- Tier-2 link building to tier-1 money pages. Strong long-run impact, but the pack says do not start bulk link work until target URLs and the anchor plan are approved, so urgency is held down and effort is high.
- GMB / map-pack optimization. Real local-pack lever for a Denver firm, moderate effort, but not the current bottleneck.
- Topical-map expansion (truck, motorcycle, premises, wrongful death). Big strategic footprint, high effort, lower immediate urgency.
- Content humanization / E-E-A-T author signals. Moderate impact in YMYL, low effort, can wait behind the publish-blockers.

Tier read and execution queue
- P0 (do immediately): Core Web Vitals fixes. It is the active-problem axis, gates ranking on competitive money pages, and is already owned in the audit.
- P1 (within 30 days): URL/canonical cleanup (unblocks all publishing), the Denver car accident article, FAQ schema on city pages, schema @id + attorney entity signals. These are the Quick Wins plus the one strategic high-value article whose PAA is already validated.
- P2 (within 90 days): Denver dog bite article (after UULE PAA validation), tier-2 links (after anchor-plan approval), GMB optimization, topical-map expansion.
- P3 (after P1/P2 clear): content humanization and deeper E-E-A-T author signals.
Immediate execution queue handed to Carlos (Quick Wins + P0/P1)
- Core Web Vitals fixes (P0) - parallel-safe with the cleanup.
- URL structure + canonical/internal-link cleanup (P1, blocks publishing, run first among content-dependent work).
- Denver car accident PAA + geo article (P1, gated by YMYL claims ledger).
- FAQ schema on city money pages (P1, depends on article FAQ blocks).
- Schema @id + attorney entity signals (P1).
Note on numbers: the per-axis 1-10 scores are analyst judgments derived from the CGH execution pack priorities (URL cleanup before publishing, CWV as a May-28 priority, validated car-accident PAA vs unvalidated dog-bite PAA, link work gated on anchor approval). No CGH-private metric (ad budget, lead count) was used or invented. High-value-vertical context (PI money pages convert to high-value cases) informs the Impact weighting only as a documented vertical assumption.
